Thank you for getting in touch with us. I think that I have it right when I say that most of our group are familiar with the Sadler name and associate it with some pretty good hamburgers among other things. If you look in the index (top right) for class photos from the Old Royal Oak School you will see the same photo with almost every student identified and I am glad we got it right with Betty Ann. If you went to any of the Royal Oak Schools you might find your photo in there or perhaps in the photos from the Royal Oak School that opened in 1952. Also in the index is a list of people who have spoken at our meetings along with links to their oral history videos which contain a lot of information about Royal Oak and the surrounding area. I'm wondering if you still live on the lower Island. I can guarantee that all would be most interested in hearing a talk by one or more of the Sadler family. We meet usually the 2nd Thursday of every month at Saint Micheal's church hall starting at 1pm. Perhaps you would care to come. My phone number is 250-479-1005. Daryl Foster
With respect to photo #22, 3rd row, student #7, the first name is "Gay", not "Guy", Oldfield. She and her younger brother were neighbours when we lived on Pipeline Road.
